PURE (GREEN) TUNGSTEN ELECTRODE is the welder's choice for superior quality tungsten due to the mixing, 

compression, and doping of materials evenly blended throughout each stick. Pure tungsten is 

good for AC welding on aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys in low to medium amperage

 applications using transformer based CC power sources only. 

This tungsten balls easy and tends to spit at higher amperages.
